Willow paced the streets of Hogsmeade, glad that she had purchased a cute cottage there, she was walking distance from all the shops. She often ambled the streets before going home after practices, it soothed her to see all the familiar sights. Even in the chill of the February night she was warm in her coat. Lately she was a bit anxious about being outside alone after dark, but she felt that she was so close to home that it didn't matter. Besides, the Saturday night streets were bustling with people.

Willow smiled a bit to herself when she saw a familiar plait of red hair, she would recognize it anywhere. Under normal circumstances she might have covered Kherington's eyes from behind and gone "guess who," but she figured with times like these it wasn't the kindest thing to do. "Kherri!" Willow called quietly once she was in earshot, using the nickname she had given her friend so many years ago when they were in school.

Kherington turned abruptly, trying not to see overly startled. The petite girl smiled gently at Willow. "Hello Willow," she replied, keeping an edge of control in her voice. Ever since being jumped by a Death Eater a a few months or so before, she was rather finicky. Anxiously, she pulled at her black turtleneck, as if she was attempting to hide the Sectemsempra scars.

Willow beamed at her closest friend in the entire world, she could not imagine what life would be like without Kherington. Of course, she had changed ever since the attack, but she was not about to abandon her friend- Willow was above things like that. Being exceptionally gentle, she gave Kherington a hug, but let go rather quickly. "What brings you out here?" Willow asked, smiling.
